My first wedding of the new decade! And what a perfect wedding to kick it off.  It makes me even more excited for the year ahead!

Marrisa and Matt were married at Central Reformed Church in downtown Grand Rapids with a reception following in the Imperial Ballroom of the Amway Grand.  All of the details were perfectly looked after from the talented crew of RSVP Events.  Not only was this wedding beautiful, but I couldn’t get over how adorable Marissa and Matt were together.  His reaction upon seeing her walk down the aisle was so touching and after the ceremony the two were in their own world.  Happy, in love, married.

Marissa’s mom is an accomplished makeup artist…absolutely perfect that she was there to touch up her daughter’s makeup.

These girls rocked it out America’s Next Top Model style.  The temperature?  A balmy 15 degrees.  They shivered but not one complained!

Kristin and Bobby’s wedding day was filled with laughter, love, and white fluffy snowflakes. A perfect winter wedding made even more so by the bond these two shared not only with each other, but with their families and friends gathered with them.

A special thanks to my friend Kelly Braman, who was shot with me that day!  What a wonderful 2009 wedding season!

Marissa and Matt kicked off 2010 with a spectacular winter wedding yesterday!  These two braved the very cold temperatures for some very fabulous downtown pictures after their ceremony.  Look for a preview soon!

Congratulations to Kristin + Bobby who were married on the lovliest of snowy winter days this weekend!

Saturday, November 14 - Rockford, IL

Krysten and Joey’s wedding had all the perfect elements for their wedding…amazing family and friends, unseasonally warm temperatures, pictures at a horse farm, and so much love and appreciation for each other that I could have photographed them all day long.  Come to think of it…I did just that!

I have a lot of pictures in this post…but as it’s my last wedding to blog for the 2009 wedding season, I think I’m allowed.  Plus, I had a hard time narrowing down this wedding!

It was truly the perfect end to an incredible season.  Once all my editing is rounded out I plan to do a super fun recap of the season so stay tuned!
