Laura and Kyle are expecting their first little one in t-minus one month!

Pretty Laura and her hubby Kyle wanted a winter maternity session to celebrate the coming arrival of their son next month (the gender is not a secret, the name, however is under lock and key!).  We both had visions of swirling snowflakes and a blanket of white snow for our shoot, but wouldn’t you know Michigan had but a few small piles of snow to be seen. But with a lovely little location scouted out and this adorable couple, I think we did just fine ;).

Three years ago, on 2007’s most popular wedding date (7-7-07!) I photographed the adorable Katie and Brian on their wedding day.  Three years later I was giddy when I was asked to photograph their maternity session!  They are expecting their first little one next month and Katie just looks adorable.  These crazy kids have chosen to be surprised and will find out if they are having a boy and girl when their little one arrives into the world.  I can’t wait to meet him or her! Congratulations again Katie and Brian! Your little one is going to be SO adorable!

Just for fun, the below picture is from their wedding day three years ago.  It still blows my mind how quickly time flies…I feel as I just shot this image!

When Amanda emailed me a few months back to set up her maternity session, I was absolutely thrilled!  I first met Amanda when her and Tom were newlyweds and we bonded over our love of our chihuahuas.  Now, almost 5 years later, they are expecting their first little one! Scheduled to arrive next month.

Amanda is going to be a great mom…she’s quick to smile, quick to laugh, and quick to love.

And Tom is going to be the most loving new dad.

Amanda’s craving… Cookies!  The best thing about this part of our shoot was eating the props afterward.  Thanks for sharing your craving Amanda!

How did Amanda get her toenails painted a baby blue for the shoot? Her adoring hubs…how sweet is he?!
