Last week I got to meet little Max…the cutie pie belonging to Amanda+George, who have been no strangers to my camera and blog over the past two years. In fact, just last week I was reminiscing as I was photographing on Belle Isle last Saturday about their engagement session two years ago and all that has changed for these two lovebirds…engaged, married and now a little one to brighten their lives.

Max has bright red hair just like his momma! We enjoyed shooting in a pretty little orchard and the studio for his six month session. I loved Max’s big smiles and his up-for-anything attitude.  Amanda+George - you are blessed!

I’ve said this so many times…but I love these families that I get to see each year!  Through the years I’ve watched little Marissa grow and seeing her little brother Jayce as a walking, talking little guy was so fun! For our session this fall, we met at a cute little orchard and sweated enjoyed the warm fall weather.  There really isn’t anything cuter than an apple orchard for a fall family session!

As a bonus, Aunt Lindsay came along and got some pictures with her niece and nephew!

Last fall, Jamie and Ian’s youngest son was a new addition to their family pictures.  This year, both boys are running around with the energy enviable by most adults! I love love love watching families grow and this family of four is no exception. I simply adore that Jamie and Ian still have that just-married spark between them…six years and two children later.

This busy family loves to be outdoors together and the beach has a special meaning for Jamie and Ian as six years ago they were married on the shores of Lake Michigan. It was a no-brainer when choosing their location this year!

It’s been two years since I’ve seen these three cuties and it was high time we all caught up!  I met them in Lowell last week and got to hear all about their first days of school while capturing all of their rambunctiousness.  We played in the park, ran around inside the covered bridge and soaked up the late summer sunshine.  These boys are sweet as pie and it’s always such a joy to capture these boys being boys!

Oh little Evan…you are simply adorable!

Evan is brand new and absolutely adored by his parents.  They, along with his grandmama, came to the studio last week so that I could meet him, smell that sweet baby head, and take his first professional pictures.  Mandy and Nathan - he’s a total keeper ;).
