Behind the Scenes:

Julie Strating and her assistant Allison were on staff during the sessions creating the hot makeup looks for the participants.  Rachael and JamieLea were on board styling hair and helping with hair during the sessions.  They all were AMAZING!

Cairey looks like a total diva here…I love it!  Getting hair and makeup done while playing with her Blackberry.

With boudoir photography getting more and more popular, my fabulous friend and studio partner Jen of JK Photography decided expand on something she loves and open La Dolce Vita, specializing in boudoir photography.

But in order to really put herself in her client’s place, she thought it was high time she had her own sexy boudoir session and with the fabulous makeup artistry of Julie Strating, we dolled her up and got her in front of the camera for a change.

I’ll admit, shooting my friend and a fellow photographer at something that is her specialty had me a little nervous.  So when she approved of the images (and yes, gave permission for them to be posted here), I breathed a big sigh of relief!
