Carrie + Ben // Wedding Preview Part I // New Orleans Wedding Photographer March 18, 2013

So I have never done this before…broken up a wedding preview into multiple posts. As much as I’ve been trying to edit these pictures down over the past few weeks, I still can’t edit down enough to put into one post. I really don’t think this is a bad problem to have!
Last week I gave you a little sneak peak of this lovely celebration when I showed you Carrie+Ben’s wedding rehearsal images. Carrie has an amazing vision, loads of style and a personality to match and it shown through in every single perfect little detail. Part 1 of their wedding concentrates on the beginning part of the wedding day (naturally) as both Carrie and Ben got ready at Race + Religious (read up on the neat history here!) and their first look and first few portraits. Over the week I’ll be featuring the rest of the wedding day in all it’s loveliness. As I don’t have another wedding to shoot until later this spring, I actually think this shall tide you loyal blog readers over as well with a lot of fun posts.
So for now, enjoy the beginning of the day. I was swooning over Carrie’s dress and flowers and couldn’t believe how perfectly the walls and colors of the house lent to the feel of their New Orleans wedding. I’ll be giving a full recap of the day along with links to all of the talented vendors that helped make this day so special in the final part to the day.

I love your pictures Amy! I am a lifelong friend of Carries’ Aunt Kathy. I’ve not seen Carrie since she was little, but I am loving looking at her gorgeous wedding pics. Am anxiously awaiting more!
[...] and let the pictures themselves fill in the rest. First of all, if you can’t tell from Part 1, Carrie and Ben are a force. Smart, determined, fiercely loyal to their friends and family…they planned a day [...]
Amy captured a lot of personality there. There’s also a lot of love and support evident–couple, friends and family. Takes me back.
