2012…another year here and gone.  And if you talk with most folks, myself included, this year seemed to be the fastest one yet! And looking back over 2012 and remembering the 36 weddings that I shot I can definitely see just how this year flew by so fast.

This year took me all over the mitten state…with the Detroit area and Northern Michigan being most of my weekend’s traveling destinations.  I had a total of one wedding in Grand Rapids and a few more scattered along the shores of Lake Michigan.  In April I traveled to Massachusetts and traveled to Chicago and New York City for engagement sessions.  September took the cake for the most number of weddings…8 total (crazy!) and July definitely won the award for hottest temperatures.  I had amazing couples…as I always do..and relished each and every wedding my team and I captured.

Looking ahead to 2013, I am looking ahead at more travel, more amazing couples and beautiful destinations. I will be taking less weddings…36 was a lot for this photographer!…and working on more personal projects (more on that later!).

The following look back is one picture from each lovely wedding I had the honor of shooting this year.  I loved looking back and remembering all of the weddings, all of my sweet couples and all the pretty details, time and energy they put into their big day. Enjoy a little look back at the past year’s events!
