I look forward to all of my sessions, but as I drove to see Nolan and his family, I couldn’t help but feel but extra excited…Nolan is 1 year old! I’ve been documenting this little guy before he was born and followed him along his journey into toddler-hood this entire past year.  He’s now a walking, talking little guy.  Still the the biggest blue eyes.  I feel so in awe watching these little ones get bigger.

We’ve also stayed true to the same surrounding areas for each one of his sessions.  I have done his shoots at his home each time.  This lucky family has a beautiful orchard in their backyard!  Each season we have photographed beautiful blooms, apples growing, and snow falling gently.  Even though there were no signs of budding leaves just yet, we made the most of the pretty rows of trees.

No birthday celebration is complete without a sweet treat!
