Detours are good for the soul November 21, 2009

It has been a loooong time since I’ve had the opportunity to post anything personal…pictures I take for myself…on this blog. And frankly, I think it’s long overdue. I feel so so so blessed to have such wonderful clients and a lot of business. But I am also ready for a slower winter season. A time to breath. To regenerate my creativeness.
The other day as I was driving out to a session, I had to take a detour and ended up spotting a field full of horses grazing against an ominous grey, cloudy sky. I was running early so stopped to pull out my camera and take a few shots. To enjoy the beauty of one of my favorite animals. It immediately reconnected me to my absolute love of photography and that I’d like to take a few more detours off the beaten path soon.

What a perfect detour! I hope these small moments help you. You have such wonderful talent and I would hate to see you get burnt out. Stay strong!
Moments like these are oh so good. Love me some horses. Beautiful Amy!
I’m glad you shared this with us!
