Stephanie and Bryce’s wedding day was a visual and emotionally beautiful day. Filled with handmade and vintage-inspired details, I was in awe of this bride’s talent and vision. Stephanie even has her own Etsy store!
This adorable couple was married outside of a lovely little school house in Glen Arbor, MI followed by an intimate reception at the Glen Arbor Township building. The only member of their wedding party was their dog Morty…super lovable and totally photogenic. Stephanie is a photographer herself and Morty is no stranger to the camera.
I will let the pictures speak for themselves in telling the story of this beautiful day.

Nothing makes me happier than shooting at a fabulous old barn and fields…gorgeous area!

A lovely, handmade pillow for the ringbearer.

Bryce wrote and sang a song to his bride during the ceremony. I looked around and there was hardly a dry eye in attendance. It was one of my favorite parts of the day.

After the vows had been read, Stephanie leaned in for a kiss, but as the officiant hadn’t yet announced it, Bryce deflected her with a hug

Now you may kiss your groom!

Onto the reception! Prepare yourself for these absolutely lovely details.

I know it’s been a while now, but do you have any information about Stephanie’s dress? I absolutely LOVE it. Any info would be much appreciated!
Kami - Stephanie’s dress was purchased at Lohmann’s years ago and altered
Amy,
First off, I love your photography! Your post-prod work is beautiful and really adds to the vintage look of many of the weddings you’ve done. Do you create custom actions or just do each photo one-off?
Also, I was wondering about the dress in the picture as well. I see it was purchased at Lohmann’s, but do you think Stephanie would also know the designer? It’s absolutely beautiful, and any help would be so appreciated!
Thanks,
Dusty
Thank you for your sweet comments Dusty! I’m unsure of the exact dress designer, but would be happy to ask for you.
As for my actions, I have some I created, some that were purchased and use them in a combination together to produce my end product. I have thought about selling custom action sets but that is a way down the road yet. Thank you for asking!
Enjoy the day!
Cheers, Amy Carroll
Amy, thanks so much for looking into the dress! I look forward to finding out the designer. I included my email in this reply (it says it won’t be published, but I’m assuming you have a way to see it.)
If you do end up selling your actions, I would be glad to be your first client. You have a great signature look!
