Lisa + Greg : : Engaged! July 9, 2009
Lisa and Greg drove out from Ann Arbor last night to meet me at the State Park in Holland. Lisa grew up coming to this beach often so it was a perfect place to shoot for their engagement session!
Despite the wind and chilly breezes, they rocked their session in total style. And after hearing about all of their fabulous details for their upcoming August wedding, I am very very excited for their day to be here! Outdoor tented reception, 6-piece band, fabulous details….can’t wait!
As we were shooting on the dunes at the lake, a senior session was shooting next to us. Lisa and Greg were getting all cozied up on the sand and the party next to us commented on their cuteness. Lisa’s reply “Oh, we’re just brother and sister”. You should have seen the looks! So funny…we got a good laugh out of it. Love this couple!
Sailboats make me happy. So does Lisa’s cute dress!
Great session! Is Holland State Park your location of choice? I’ve never shot there, but have used Tunnel Park and North County Beach in Ferrysburg. Keep up the great work!
Actually, not so much on the State Park being my favorite location. Originally we had Tunnel Park planned, but had a change in plans and went with it. Luckily this couple was so fabulous that we rocked it anyway at the State Park. I’ve never tried North County Beach but may have to check that out soon. Thanks for the location idea!
