About a month ago I received a phone call from excited bride-to-be Rachel announcing she was getting married on June 18 and wondered if I was available.  Being that it was May when I received the call, and knowing my June calendar had been booked from the year before, I thought there is no way! But I glanced at my calendar and saw the 18th was on a Thursday.  No problem! I love a weekday wedding!

Rachel and Eric’s wedding was true to them…simple, no fuss, and surrounded by their closest friends and family.  Look for their preview later next week!

And regarding the funky, fabulous border I used for their sneak-peak picture…this was purchased from Amy Wenzel’s Swiss Miss Design Haus.  Fellow friend and photog Kelly Powers suggested that us in the photography community help out Amy as her husband David undergoes potential brain surgery by purchasing her lovely designs and templates (which is not a tough way to offer support…her designs simply rock!). This is obviously a tumultuous time for this local photographer and her husband so I wanted to help give my support .  You can read more about it on her blog here.
